Biden walks up to Modi to share pleasantries ahead of G7 group photo

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday was seen sharing a couple of warm moments with global leaders, including United States President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the G7 Summit venue in Schloss Elmau, Germany.

One such moment was seen in a video shared by news agency Reuters wherein Biden was seen walking up to Modi to greet him and exchange pleasantries. They also warmly shook hands.

Modi, standing next to Trudeau for the group photo, was also seen interacting with the Canadian Prime Minister. The two leaders are set to hold a bilateral meeting later in the evening.

Modi, is in Germany on a two-day visit from Sunday for the summit of the G7. He was received by Scholz upon his arrival at Schloss Elmau in southern Germany where the summit is being held.

The camaraderie between Modi and Macron was also on full display as they hugged and briefly chatted after the group photo. As the G7 leaders went inside the summit venue, the two leaders continued with their discussion and went inside together.
